Enabler Therapy
Calcification blocks the procedures that could save patients.
Elastrin Clears the Path.
Many device interventions for vascular disease cannot be performed when vessel walls are too calcified and stiff. Elastrin's platform reverses that calcification — enabling procedures that would otherwise be impossible and expanding access to treatment for patients who currently have no options. This modular system is designed to localise therapy to damaged elastin and reverse calcification across multiple disease indications.

1: Targeting Antibody
Our patented, fully humanised antibody Flexibzumab™ binds specifically to degraded elastin in diseased tissue, guiding the entire system to the precise site of calcification.
2: Liposomal Nanoparticle
Carries therapeutic payloads and enables localised release at sites of damage, minimising exposure to healthy tissue.
3: Adaptable Payloads
Active agents that can be tuned to the indication and development strategy, the same backbone, multiple applications. Proof of principle shown animal models of Arteriosclerosis, Aneurysms, and COPD.

A defined translational development pathway from preclinical to human studies
Established academic and institutional partnerships for clinical and mechanistic insight
A scalable manufacturing approach designed for nanoparticle-based therapeutics
De-Risking, For Patients, Physicians, and Partners
A defined pathway from preclinical evidence to clinical application.
Surgical and device interventions for vascular disease are frequently prevented or compromised by the very calcification they are meant to treat. When vessels are too stiff, procedures cannot be performed , leaving patients with no option but radical surgery or, in the case of peripheral artery disease, amputation. Elastrin's approach addresses this directly: by reversing calcification before or alongside a procedure, it expands the treatable population and reduces risk for everyone involved.
Patients
Access to procedures and treatments they were previously excluded from due to vessel calcification.
Physicians
A non-surgical option where none currently exists, and a way to make device procedures viable in patients who would otherwise be turned away.
Device and Pharma Partners
A larger addressable patient population, reduced procedural risk, and a platform compatible with co-development and co-branding models.
Who Benefits
The role of AI.
Elastrin Therapeutics aims to be the world leader in combining AI-Assisted imaging with reversal of arterial calcification. The extensive, real-world use of AI in imaging for vascular calcification is already transforming the management of peripheral artery disease (PAD) and has significant potential to improve efficacy and safety of cardiovascular treatments.
